Jacob turned 9 months old on Halloween. My little man went trick or treating as a giraffe, the cutest giraffe ever! He met a huge milestone also, he started crawling!!! He technically crawled the day before Halloween, but Olivia pushed him down and he wouldn't do it again and he didn't make it very far.
So, after taking him out for candy, we headed to Grandma's house for a surprise trick or treat visit. She was so surprised and happy to see him in his costume and Great Grandma was there too. After we changed him out of his costume, he wanted to play with the cat toy on the floor. He immediately started to try to crawl, but couldn't quite get it. He kept getting on his knees then going back to sitting and he was getting around pretty good using that process, but then he just went for it and crawled a couple feet. I was so proud of my little guy! He makes me so happy.
On the 22nd he said baba for the first time and he hasn't stopped since, now he's saying mamamabababa, it's so cute. Yesterday, we lowered his crib because he can easily go from laying to sitting to standing pretty quickly. This morning he woke up, sat up grabbed the camera and said "ba mom". I laughed so hard.
