Steps!

We went to the aquarium on Feb. 24th and had a blast! Jacob really loved the fish and of course pointed at EVERYTHING! He's so cute, it's like he wants to know what the name of every little thing is.

Most importantly, Jacob took his first steps while we were there! He took about 3 steps before getting down to crawl! I couldn't believe it, he was holding onto Justin and Justin let go and Jacob just kept going. I'm so proud of him!

One Year Pictures

Happy Birthday!

My baby boy is one year old now! He now weighs 22lbs, 10oz and is 30 inches tall. He is getting so big! We had his party on Sunday since it was his actual birthday. He had a great party, lots of people came and he got tons of gifts! I tried to do a cake smash, but he wasn't having it, he hates having his hands dirty. I gave him a spoon and he ate like a pro.

He figured out how to crawl up the steps after only 3 minor attempts, the first 2 times he only started to move his leg up and I moved him, that was back in October, his last try was a couple weeks ago and now he can get up them in a few seconds. He also figured out straws pretty quickly, he's so smart.

Can't believe it's been a year, time flies!! It was definitely the best year yet, but I know this year will be filled with just as much fun and joy and I'm looking forward to it!

Little Sick Baby

Jacob had to go to the doctor today, turns out he has a double ear infection, yeast infection from his antibiotic, and eczema. I feel terrible for my little man, I just feel like I'm doing something wrong because he keeps getting sick. His cheeks are so red from the eczema and he just seems so uncomfortable all together. I wish I could just make him feel better. I hope he starts feeling better real soon, I would hate for him to be sick on his birthday.
